OASIS offers flexible membership opportunities designed to co-locate and connect established industry, startups, non-profit, and government partners with the research expertise, talent, and shared-use infrastructure of The Robert Mehrabian College of Engineering at UCSB. Through OASIS, members gain access to advanced instrumentation, collaborative research pathways, and a vibrant innovation ecosystem that accelerates discovery and technology translation.

Startup members at OASIS gain access to a purpose-built environment designed to support early-stage growth and long-term success. Members receive assigned and dedicated laboratory infrastructure and have easy access to advanced R&D, prototyping, and automation platforms, without the need to make major capital investments.

For established companies, non-profit, and government members, OASIS drives private-public partnerships through true co-location and a friendly environment for industry-driven and regional initiatives. OASIS provides a gateway into UC Santa Barbara's research ecosystem – creating a platform for ongoing engagement with faculty and students, entrepreneurs and startups, visibility and access to next-generation technologies, and opportunities to create industry centers of excellence.
