Umesh Mishra

Mishra is a renowned expert in energy-efficient electronic devices, specifically Gallium Nitride (GaN) materials and technologies. His s areas of research include: development of GaN electronics, GaN opto-electronics, GaN materials, oxide-based electronics, non-stoichiometric semiconductors, vacuum microelectronics, and Inp & GaAs based electronics. An elected member of the National Academy of Engineering and a fellow of IEEE and the National Academy of Inventors, Mishra has received the IEEE David Sarnoff Award and the Jun-ichi Nishizawa Medal.
